I am Josh and this page is about me. This is me.

Me! (and a bigass crevasse)

I am at that moment I am partaking in one of my favorite pastimes, mountaineering.  I am an american ex-patriot living in wonderful argentina. For those of you who are geographically impared, its in south amierica.  I am a student……still…….of fine arts here in La Plata.  A wonderful little/big city made up of students and public officials.i like to think of it as the St. Petersburge of South America.

I am a painter, which is what i study, as well as a printmaker and an amtature photographer.  All of these fields seem to blend together for me into what is essentially 2 dimensional art. I am not really big into sculpter.  As well as canvas i do work on the human body.  I am an aspiring tattoo artist or dermagraphic technician as mom likes to hear.  This i have been doing for about 3 years.

When i am not studying i enjoy spending time in the great outdoors.  I am (as much as i can be) an avid backpacker, rock climber, and mountaineer. This what (aside from art) is what i truely love to do.  Being out in the fresh air, tieing in just before setting out on a glacier, or the adrenline rush you get when you are 6 feet above your last piece of protection are what truely seem to relax me.
